With a background in industrial design and project management, Darrin has held several leadership positions during his career at Farm, which is now part of Flex. He plays a key role in the company’s operations, marketing, new business development, and strategic growth. Manke has 25 years of deep experience in product development, including 20 years at Farm, and has managed the successful creation of healthcare products and systems for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 OEMs. He has led cross-functional teams through the development and commercialization of products and systems across a wide spectrum of healthcare categories, including cardiovascular implant delivery, robotic surgery, cardio-ablation, patient monitoring (neurology, vital signs and defibrillation), mammography, biopsy, and high-volume, single-use drug delivery and sample collection. Before joining Farm, Manke’s positions included director of design at Kemnitzer Design Inc., and he served as a guest lecturer at the University of Kansas, where he earlier graduated with a BFA in industrial design. Manke holds over 20 design and utility patents.
